Bildstein<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">&nbsp;Tu\u00e9<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-d0bbbce0 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-container-core-column-is-layout-e3d1c41b wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Dans la nuit du 10 au 11 septembre 1944, un B-17 surnomm\u00e9 &#8220;Miss Charlotte&#8221; avec \u00e0 son bord un \u00e9quipage compos\u00e9 de 9 hommes, survole la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e en direction de la zone montagneuse de Cuneo, dans le Pi\u00e9mont italien avec pour mission : largage de 14 containers et 4 gros packs d&#8217;environ 1 M\/3 l&#8217;un aux partisans pi\u00e9montais.<br>Le temps \u00e9tait ex\u00e9crable sur le secteur, et l&#8217;appareil, pris dans une terrible tourmente de neige, va remonter bien trop au Nord de sa drop-zone et se retrouver en un endroit o\u00f9 les pics alpins d\u00e9passent 3000 m\u00e8tres alors que le plan de vol pr\u00e9voyait une hauteur de&#8230; 2000 m\u00e8tres !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Sestri\u00e8re, station de ski italienne situ\u00e9e non loin de Montgen\u00e8vre, pr\u00e8s de Brian\u00e7on, un militaire de quart au poste de garde, le capitaine Vittorio Bianco, sirote une tasse de caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La nuit est totale, quand soudainement, venant du Sud, le bourdonnement caract\u00e9ristique et s&#8217;amplifiant rapidement, d&#8217;un avion isol\u00e9, se fait entendre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surpris, l&#8217;officier s&#8217;\u00e9quipe chaudement et sort du poste de garde pour mieux situer d\u2019ou provient ce bruit. Il semblerait qu&#8217;un imposant appareil tourne dans les montagnes ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puis, l&#8217;\u00e9cho faibli, et soudain, un bref \u00e9clair suivi d&#8217;une lueur rouge\/orang\u00e9e, illumine instantan\u00e9ment la face nord d&#8217;un pic, tandis qu\u2019une poign\u00e9e de secondes plus tard une terrifiante explosion se fait entendre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le B-17 &#8220;Miss Charlotte&#8221; vient de percuter la face nord du Mont Gran Mioul, localis\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 20 km au Sud du point o\u00f9 se trouve le capitaine Bianco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aucun des 9 aviateurs \u00e0 bord ne surv\u00e9cut \u00e0 l&#8217;impact.
